Note: Route 50 at the top of the map is on the north side of the resort. The Sangre de Cristo mountains are to the southwest and sites at the southern end of the park have the best views.

Note that the west side of the park borders a horse barn and pasture. Many guests enjoy being near the horses, but others do not. Note that there may be odors associated with horses if there is no breeze. We are on top of a mountain, so usually there is a breeze.
